Gala de decernare a Premiilor Oscar, ajunsă la cea de-a 84-a ediţie, va avea loc pe 26 februarie 2012 (27 februarie 2012, ora 03,00 la Bucureşti), la teatrul Kodak, o sală de spectacol cu 3.400 de locuri, aflată în Los Angeles, la Hollywood, aceeaşi care a găzduit şi gala din 2010 şi 2011 (şi de altfel toate galele din 2002 încoace).

Marţi, 28 februarie 2012, de la ora 20:00, prestigioasa Gala va putea fi urmarită în varianta editată şi subtitrată pe acelaşi post de televiziune.
